My childhood was spent in an orange orchard with a high fence built around me, by my parents. "here, take some paper and crayons, draw a turtle which is hiding in the grass. Don't move from here, till we complete to pick the oranges."

Obedient, I stayed in a prison of boxes. By and behold, I succeeded to come up with drawings of waves, sea weeds, the flight of the raven and the cypress tree tops, in the blue sky.

Already then, I understood that it is possible to breakdown walls and move in new-open space, in the wonderful, strong, World of art.

Since then I am painting without a stop, especially in oils, full of colors and large parameters. Many times I am assisted by paint brushes, painters scalpel and often use my fingers. I purposely choose to paint urban scenery, which draws in but also threatens, my city of Tel-Aviv, loneliness in the midst of a busy, noisy bustling street, colorful cranes. In grey, noisy building sites, imaginary endless traffic jams of the uproar of the sea, the hope, happiness and the flow of freedom to life.

The corona virus urged me to point a series of paintings, collected for an exhibition, on the topic of "flooding" - emotional flooding of love, anxiety, struggles, lack of certainly and many buoys to hold on to.

Afterwards, I painted a series of eagles and frightening jackals as well as the soil burning.

I am autodidactic, despite that I studied classes drawing in an orderly manner, in established institutions, with different well-known artists. My very clear approach was to let go off "the exact correct spelling" and to express myself according to my intuition and freedom, to draw honestly, authentically, with my inner voice and loyalty to myself.
